June 2025
Sheldwich F.C. was delighted to take part in the Sheldwich School Summer Fair this June, setting up an inflatable assault course stall that brought hours of laughter and excitement for the children and parents.
Our squad, families, and volunteers ran non-stop throughout the day, and together we raised over £250 for the PTA - a wonderful boost to help equip the school and support upcoming projects.
A big shout-out to everyone who joined in the fun, took on the challenge, and supported our efforts! We’re proud to stand alongside the school community – showing what happens when footballers give back both on and off the pitch.
May 2025
The stage is set, the kits are ironed, and the friendly rivalry is heating up - it’s time for the Sheldwich Primary School Cup 2025!
Next month, Garrett’s Golden Boots (led by Headteacher Mrs Garrett) will go head-to-head with Lay’s Lethal Finishers (Assistant Headteacher Mrs Lay’s side) in a light-hearted, full-blooded fixture hosted at Aquatherm Stadium - home of Faversham Town F.C.
Organised in partnership between Sheldwich F.C. and the PTA, the event promises something for everyone. Expect plenty of family friendly banter, questionable tactics, and a few surprise screamers as staff, parents and friends take to the pitch - all in support of a fantastic cause. Proceeds go directly to Sheldwich Primary School PTA, helping fund enrichment activities, resources, and events for the children.
Both squads have been in training (allegedly), and if last year’s encounter was anything to go by, this one’s set to deliver thrills, spills and some serious sideline laughs.
Come down, bring the family, and support the school in the best way possible - with ice-cream in one hand and a matchday cheer in the other.
April 2025
Several of the S.F.C. squad got a chance to show that they could perform off the pitch as well as they perform on it, with the PTA hosted quiz night at Sheldwich Village Hall. With an impressive range of general knowledge between them, the quiz squad blitzed the movie and music rounds and also showed some great lateral thinking to score very highly on the rebus puzzles.
A well played wildcard on the sports round really pushed the S.F.C. brains to the top of the scoreboard and Sheldwich Football Club came away winners on the night!
Needless to say, the quiz trophy (unavailable on the night unfortunately for our winners photo), will be taking pride of place in our trophy cabinet. Fun all round, and money raised for the PTA as a bonus.
March 2025
March saw Sheldwich F.C. host a lively internal friendly under bright skies at our home ground, Aquatherm Stadium. With players split across two sides, the match was packed with competitive spirit, cracking goals, and plenty of sideline banter — a great chance to test fitness, try out new formations, and just enjoy the game together.
We were also pleased to be joined on the day by Rob from Howdens Faversham, one of our valued club sponsors. It was brilliant to show him the energy of the squad in action and to chat through some of the club’s goals and future ambitions.
A big thank you to Rob and Howdens for their ongoing support — it means a great deal to the team and community alike.
We’ll be looking to host more of these internal fixtures throughout the year, helping to keep sharpness high and spirits even higher.
February 2025
In February, we were thrilled to welcome talented local photographer Molly from @wildmeadowphoto to one of our fixtures — and the results speak for themselves. From flying tackles to goal celebrations, Molly captured the energy, grit, and character of Sheldwich F.C. in full flow.
Her action shots from the day have been a massive hit with the squad (and their families), and it’s safe to say a few profile pictures have had a serious upgrade!
We’re incredibly grateful for her time and creativity, and we can’t wait to have her back at a future match or club event.

January 2025
In late January, the Sheldwich F.C. squad gathered for a much-needed team night at our sponsor’s fantastic venue, Papa Bianco in Faversham. With the wood-fired ovens blazing and the smell of legendary pizza in the air, the evening offered the perfect backdrop to catch up, plan ahead, and celebrate how far we’ve come.
Between slices, we held an informal club meeting where players and committee members discussed our progress so far, future plans for growth, and exciting ideas for strengthening our community presence both on and off the pitch.
The evening was a great mix of focus and fun — reflecting the spirit of what Sheldwich F.C. is all about: a shared passion for football, community, and the people who make it special.
A huge thank you to Papa Bianco for the warm hospitality (and the truly outstanding pizza). We’re proud to have such an incredible local business backing us, and we’re already looking forward to the next visit!

In a festive atmosphere, attendees—including parent helpers, the PTA, and members of the school board—were treated to a series of delightful Christmas performances. The pupils showcased their talents, with highlights including an enchanting performance by the school choir.

We are delighted to announce that Howdens Faversham has joined the Sheldwich F.C. family as our new secondary shirt sponsor. Their logo will take pride of place on our away kit, adding a touch of class as we take to the field this season.

Several members of the Sheldwich F.C. squad swapped football boots for boxing gloves this week. The team participated in their first-ever boxing training session, with a focus on improving fitness, coordination, and agility. The session was an action-packed mix of pad work and bag drills, designed to push the players out of their comfort zone and give them a taste of a different kind of physical challenge.
With more boxing sessions planned in the future, it looks like Sheldwich F.C. is stepping up their game in more ways than one. Keep an eye out—you might just see a little more power in their tackles and precision in their footwork in upcoming matches!
A special shout-out goes to Bill who took the lead in organising and running the session. From coordinating the logistics to guiding the lads through each drill, Bill's dedication and leadership were on full display. His energy and enthusiasm set the tone for the day, ensuring that everyone got the most out of the workout. The team responded brilliantly to his encouragement, making the session not just challenging but also a lot of fun. Well done, Bill!
