He scored a well-taken brace, showcasing his range — a sharp turn followed by a powerful strike from distance, a clever run through the box to slot home from a tight angle, and relentless running right up until the final whistle. A tireless and clinical display that thoroughly earned him MotM.

NEIL WALLACE
Feburay 2025

Neil Wallace put in a tireless performance on the right wing, covering every blade of grass as he drove the team forward. His relentless work rate was rewarded with a crucial assist for the opening goal, setting the tone for Sheldwich F.C.’s attacking intent. As the game neared its conclusion, Neil showed composure under pressure, slotting home a well-taken goal to secure a hard-fought draw. A top-class shift from start to finish, making him a deserved Man of the Match.

RYAN HUBBLE

Ryan Hubble delivered a sensational second-half performance, coming alive to net a brilliant hat-trick. His movement off the ball was exceptional, making perfectly timed runs onto through balls that sliced through the opposition's defence. In the box, he showed superb close control, keeping his composure to finish clinically. His finishing touch proved to be the difference in the match, earning him a well-deserved Man of the Match award.

Oliver Solly earned the Man of the Match award for his tenacious performance in midfield. He was instrumental in key battles, distributing the ball effectively to initiate multiple forward movements and attacking plays. His tireless work rate saw him tracking back to bolster the defence, often acting as an extra defender when the team needed it most. Ollie’s all-around effort was crucial to Sheldwich F.C.’s performance.

Bill Hollyfield shone in today’s match, stepping into a central defensive role with composure and determination. He led by example, organising the backline and midfield while making crucial interceptions and clearances to keep Sheldwich in the game. His ability to read the play and react decisively earned him a well-deserved Man of the Match, as voted by his squadmates.
